Business Area

Empire Today’s Human Resources department is a critical component to meeting our business needs through managing our most valuable resources – our employees.  The essential functions of the department include recruiting, safety, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, and training and development.

Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Supervisor is responsible for leading the recruiting efforts to onboard qualified Independent Sales Representatives to service our customers.  This individuals will also help assess, evaluate, and lead the national sales contractor recruitment functions.  The individual will train and develop new staff on sourcing, interviewing, negotiating, and on-boarding new Independent Sales Representatives.  Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Director, this individual will provide support and offer best practice recommendations to mid-level managers and senior members of team in the interest of recruitment, selection and sourcing strategies. 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with related coursework
  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in inside sales, recruitment or related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Very detail-oriented, good follow through, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to own projects from start to finish
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
