Business Area

Empire Today’s Human Resources department is a critical component to meeting our business needs through managing our most valuable resources – our employees.  The essential functions of the department include recruiting, safety, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, and training and development.

Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator facilitates and coordinates the day-to-day activities associated with the activation of contract outside sales reps in accordance with the companies’ business needs.

  • Contact Independent Contractors and maintain Sales Recruitment Daily Tracker and Database by accurately updating  Sales Rep records.
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and faxes received from internal and external business partners inquiring about the on-boarding and activation status of sales reps.
  • Carry out email campaigns to attract and engage sales reps both active and inactive.
  • Monitor and manage sales rep's progress throughout the on-boarding process through activation.
  • Manage and obtain all required sales rep documentation; working closely with Compliance to ensure each sales rep is cleared to onboard.
  • Overcome specific objections/procrastination by candidates including setting up conference calls with the local market, pre-populating paperwork and mailing to sales rep candidate for execution, and taking extra steps to push candidates through the process.
  • Direct and guide sales reps through the process by providing insurance information.
  • Manage sales reps within a specified region and assist with overflow as needed.
  • Attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
  • Report weekly on sales reps progress within your region discussing updates, delays or concerns.
  • Develop ideas and creative ways to attract and engage Independent sales reps.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will possess:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; Associates or Bachelors Degree is preferred
  • 6 months - 1 year of experience in HR, Operations, Account Management, General Support Role or positions with similar responsibilities and expectations
