Business Area

This position is responsible for supporting the Employee Relations department and other HR functions

Responsibilities

  • Audit PCF and new hires against Personnel Change Report and ADP to ensure all changes are accurate.
  • File forms for current and former associates.
  • Pull files for associates no longer with the company and file in the archives. Retain all documents in accordance with company retention policy.
  • Audit files and I-9 forms to ensure information is up to date. Retrieve any documents that may be missing.
  • Process referral payments for associates who referred a new hire. Obtain any approvals where needed.
  • Run monthly referral report to determine how many associates were paid referral fees.
  • Fill in for the HR receptionist when that person is on a break or off for the day.
  • Fill in for the shipping coordinator when needed.
  • Maintain accurate company badges.
  • Complete employment verifications.
  • Maintain and process spot awards.
  • Maintain total company compliance posters.
  • Process all employee and contractor referrals.
  • Maintain parking passes.  
  • Work on various projects in department as assigned/needed.
  • Process monthly service awards, birthday and anniversaries.
  • Host monthly celebrations.
  • Other duties as requested or assigned.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Home Improvement Industry is a plus.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • This position requires a High School Diploma/GED, associate degree; 1-3 years Human Resources or administrative experience, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, ADP).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
