Business Area

Empire Today’s Human Resources department is a critical component to meeting our business needs through managing our most valuable resources – our employees.  The essential functions of the department include recruiting, safety, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, and training and development.

Responsibilities

The HR Analyst provides support of HR systems and serve as the point of contact for end users, maintenance and enhancements. The HR Analyst will analyze and document process flow and will be responsible for reporting on a variety of HR data and trends. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the System Administrator for Taleo (ATS) and various HR systems to include security, troubleshooting, process improvements and testing
  • Design, generate and distribute routine and ad hoc reports as needed for various departments
  • Develop and deliver end user training materials and provide formal training as needed
  • Ensure HR systems are utilized to the fullest capability by identifying and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in rollout and implementation of new HR projects.
  • Meet with management to discuss and clarify requests for projects, highlight issues, and make recommendations to address issues and priorities.
  • Coach and assist in development of current and new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
  • Manage and audit National Car Allowance program through 1 direct report

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, HR, or Mathematics related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Taleo Business Edition configuration experience (experience troubleshooting, diagnosing issues) or other related Applicant Tracking experience helpful
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (V-Look Up, Pivot Tables, Sort/Filters, Conditional Formatting, etc.)
  • Tableau BI experience or other related BI report building / writing experience
  • Experience working with multiple departments, senior management and leadership
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information
  • High attention to detail and sense of urgency
