Business Area

Empire Today’s Marketing & Media team promotes our business and drives sales of our products and services. Our department is responsible for acquiring new leads and prospects through television, online pay-per-click, digital, social, and affiliate marketing campaigns. The team manages the strategy, media buying, execution, and optimization across channels. We also own the creative, messaging, and delivery of our message to target consumers, and giving consumers a reason to believe in our brands.

Responsibilities

The Field Marketing Associate is responsible for aiding in the development and owning the execution of Empire Today’s local market lead generation strategy.  Responsibilities include the oversight, execution, tracking, and optimization of Empire Today lead acquisition for local marketing campaigns as well as ownership of key marketing communication tactics including radio, print, events, etc.  Includes ongoing program management, budget development, expense management, analysis, and reporting. The candidate must have deep knowledge and experience in local/field marketing and traditional and emerging communications channels, including web, print, direct mail, events, and public relations, and have the ability to “own” and drive delivery of clearly measurable business results. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

  • Management of local/field marketing program utilizing assistance from internal and external teams and/or vendors
  • Develop and implement the overall local marketing strategy to increase awareness and create demand for a set of designated markets for the company
  • Own and ensure local marketing efforts are optimized to drive leads and revenue through effective and differentiated positioning within the marketplace
  • Responsible for the execution of local market lead generation campaigns (home shows, local events, sponsorships, etc. ) in collaboration with the local sales team
  • Plan, track, and analyze marketing budget and campaign metrics to demonstrate ROI; propose corrective measure to achieve business objectives
  • Develop, communicate, and execute ideas for local/field marketing lead generation programs, inside or outside of existing company framework
  • Collaborate with sales team to ensure lead generation initiatives meet sales team needs
  • Develop strategic messaging to convey our value propositions and better position Empire in the marketplace and constantly iterate tactics to optimize messaging within strategy
  • Works in conjunction with creative services to design and develop advertising and marketing collateral for radio, print, and digital media outlets
  • Effectively communicate lead generation programs, plans, and metrics to marketing and sales leadership
  • Oversees and ensures alignment across all functional teams supporting the brand, including digital marketing, email, creative, etc.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Relevant marketing experience or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven, measurable results in conceptualization, development, and execution of business-building efforts, delivering quantifiable generation of leads/sales.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, with an orientation to details.  Ability to resolve problems at both the strategic and execution levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.  Exhibit ability to organize thoughts, communicate clearly, completely, and concisely.
  • Possesses strong project management skills and has the ability to work well within a team environment and individually. 
  • Previous experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Understanding and knowledge of online and offline marketing channels (Print, PPC, SEO, email marketing, etc.)
