Business Area

At Empire Today, our Commercial Sales & Operations team, also referred to as “Professional”, handles the B2B sales and installation of commercial flooring products to businesses ranging from small offices, property managers, education / government, large business chains, hospitality, healthcare, and restoration.


The Manager Business Integration and Technology is responsible for the integration of national and regional clients into the Empire commercial business as well as developing, implementing, and improving the technology tools required for effective selling and internal/external client management.

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders (internal / external) to assess work thoroughly, identify scope, develop project plans to promote effective client on-boarding and management
  • Designs and implements KPI measures, measurement systems and visual tracking controls / dashboards to manage process performance for sustainability and continuous improvement for each identified client.
  • Conducts and facilitates process improvement projects and ongoing operational gap assessments, across multiple functions, with both internal and external partners, suppliers, and customers, around continuous improvement efforts (using industry recognized methodologies and tools) in order to understand their pain areas and to apply their insights to challenge and modify current approaches / ways of doing things.
  • Develops and presents insightful analysis utilizing business analytics and data to develop points of view and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drafts and maintains SOP documents, policies, training guides, and other tools as it relates to business integration process and ongoing client requirements.
  • Consults on technology selection process and acts as the liaison between the business, Business Systems, and IT when necessary.
  • Leads cross functional training sessions to ensure full understanding of processes and technology.
  • Provides oversight and governance by working with the business, processes, and procedures to accomplish project objectives and ensuring proper system and process utilization
  • Acts as a change agent to foster and support a daily work improvement culture throughout the organization and is expected to work closely with all functions within Empire to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Actively works with end users as a primary contact for escalations, critical follow up, and overall business integration activity
  • Writes, builds, and tests project workflows for Empire Commercial clients that manage projects/initiatives from beginning to end
  • Work with, RFMS, SMBHD, Adobe and other software partner development teams to provide enhancement to the Commercial Selling Platform
  • Provide continuous support to all Empire Commercial departments on existing web tools and platforms


The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in management.
  • 5+ years of experience in data management and/or analysis.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office software
  • Ability to identify managerial needs by listening to requests and asking follow-up questions.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent critical thinking ability.
  • Exceptional trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with various levels of management and customers
  • Comfortable working within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
