This position has dire ct ac countability for the da y -to-day wa r ehouse activities which include; re c eiving, storin g, sta ging of inventory and fulfillment of orders, loading and return handlin g. This position is responsible for maintaining and e x ecuting all w arehouse operations in a c corda n ce to the compan y’s standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in a safe and orderly f ashion. This position will also support the market in various administrative tasks such as tracking installer/contractor performance, department reports.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Conducts thorou gh, a cc urate, and fr equ ent inventory c y cle counts in ac c o rdance to the SOP
- Ac counts for acc urate ph y sical inventories by pe rforming a thorou gh inv entory in accord ance to all SOP’s
- Maintains a safe and clean ph ysical condition of the wa r ehouse and product through organiz ation that is conducive to a cle an, organiz ed, effici ent and s afe environment in acc orda n ce to all SOP’s
- Operates wa r ehouse machinery in cluding, forklift, scissor lift, and carp et cutting
machines, in a sa fe and eff ective m anner in accordance to comp a ny and safe ty SOP’s and policies
- Conducts daily and w ee kly sa f e ty wa r ehouse w alk -throug h ’s as assi gned
- Performs machine ry sa fe ty c h e cks and maintains r ecord log as assig n ed
- Maintains a clean and sa fe ph ysic al condition of the installer loading a r eas and dumpster area of the p arking lot to ensure that it meets all company policies and SOPs
- Reports operational and s afe ty discr epanc i es by working with direct management and e x ecuting n ecess a ry action items assigned
- Completes warehouse op erational daily re quirements as dire cted by management
- File and maintain all product line job jackets when jobs are completed.
- Provide installation support by printing worksheets and compiling worksheet packets.
- Take department phone calls; respond to low-level issues and forward others to Installation Coordinators and Install Managers in a timely manner.
- Maintain records of Service Requests and keep updated per Install Manager instructions.
- Ensure supply levels of all installation supplies and support materials are adequate and replace/update as needed.
- Track ongoing projects in department.
- Provide support during installer check-in each day.
- Serve as liaison between installation and order management to ensure all data entry issues are controlled and addressed.
- Prepare documents and correspondence such as lists, responses to requests for data and memorandums.
- Filing documents when needed.
- All other duties assigned or as required.
Knowledge and Skill Required
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous high-volume warehouse experience
- D emonstrates a sense of ur gency and decisi veness
- Strong ability to mult i - task
- D emonstrated ability to safely operate warehouse machinery
- K nowledge of warehouse manag e ment
- H igh level of internal and external customer service
- C om mitted to mai ntaining an excellent attendance record
- Flexible to w ork overtime when needed
- Administrative assistant or document control experience Education.
