Business Area

Empire Today’s Market Operations team is an integral part of our company's business strategy and include local personnel managing warehouses, product receipt and distribution, customer service, full life cycle of customer orders, and installation management.  This enables installers to deliver upon our commitment to our customers and support the success of Empire Today.


The National Market Operations Specialist evaluates markets operation performance, efficiencies and associates roles within the market.  This position supports and re-aligns processes, creates actions plans, and manages and the market audit workbooks.  This position works with the Sr. Manager, Market Operations, National Market Operations Managers and the market GM’s to restructure operational functions where needed.  This position is responsible for getting market support assistance into the markets where necessary and approved, coordinates and provides support in areas needing general clean up or re-vamping. Position manages and supports and audits the company’s operational and financial procedures and market reporting’s.  This is a leadership position whose responsibilities include supporting national Market Operations Managers in turning around poor performing markets.  As such, it is expected to be a “hands-on” position, with intimate working knowledge of ALL operational areas within the market.  This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Market Operations.

  • Evaluate all key operations within a market in all functional areas.
  • Coordinate necessary support efforts from market support and create action plans to address opportunities for improvement within the market.
  • Identify needs, create action plans, and manage actionable items.
  • Work with Market Operations Managers on market challenges and needs.
  • Provide training support to associates at all levels.
  • Create, manage and track market action items and deliverables
  • Maintain all market audit workbooks and prep National Market Operations will follow-up items and workbook preparations.
  • Outline market deficiencies, learning/training gaps and necessary corrective actions.
  • Work with Sr. Manager, Market Operations to create and design process improvements, SOPs, Policies, Job-Aids
  • Work with Sr. Manager, Market Operations to correct process gaps and learning gaps within Market Operations at a national level.
  • Must possess a complete understanding of all processes in all Installation, Inventory Management, Accounting, Office Management and Sales SOP’s.
  • Up to 80% travel.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in Finance preferred. 
  • Five to seven years of auditing experience required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint. Siebel and Empires Information Systems; EIMS, POS, EMS & Siebel Analytics.
  • Must exhibit excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, responsibilities and multiple priorities effectively; able to work well on own as well as with a team.
  • Must possess essential skills of general auditing practices; ability to determine validity of information, critical thinking, detail orientated, ability to document and report factual findings, objective reporting free of bias or opinion, ability to processes collective information, make a clear determination and document such in reporting’s.
